This course is an introduction to the basic skills in production and comprehension of American Sign Language (ASL) vocabulary, linguistic principles, and conversational skills. There may be additional costs required for activities or projects within the Deaf community (e.g., attendance to ASL related events in the local community or school for the Deaf).
