Description
This course is designed for students who plan to major in fields that do not require an in-depth study of mathematics. The major topics introduced in this course are financial mathematics, graph theory, numbers and number systems, and elementary number theory. Additional topics include voting techniques, modular arithmetic, exponential growth and decay, elementary topology, and non-Euclidean geometry. Fractal geometry may be introduced.
