Description

This course is an introduction to the basic skills in production and comprehension of American Sign Language (ASL). It includes the manual alphabet and numbers. Develops conversational ability, culturally appropriate behaviors and exposes students to ASL grammar. There may be additional costs required for activities or projects within the Deaf community (e.g., attendance to ASL related events in the local community or school for the Deaf).
